Often I use the person Full Name in the Company field if I am adding a personal contact to get the contact to show in teams. Then the newly added contact will show in Teams. It will not sync in teams, until you provide a "Company" in the Outlook contact. You notice this personal contact is not synchronizing with teams.

I noted the following with synchronizing the contacts between Outlook and Teems.ĮXAMPLE: You create a personal contact in Outlook, providing the person's name but they do not have "Company" as far as you are concerned as they are a friend or family member. (Edit) Also noted we cannot make calls initiated from Outlook Contact, in past SFB would broker the call, since Teams replaced SFB this inter-connectivity is broken. Teams> Calls> Contacts ≠ Outlook > Contacts. When I add a contact under My Contacts in Outlook, in the past Skype for business would lookup against this list for Skype Call, email integration etc, Since Teams replaced SFB, I am not seeing any new contacts I have added in Outlook, in Teams.
